I went to watch the new Batman movie directed by Matt Reeves. Overall, the visuals were very powerful with scenes that used negative shapes with the smoke scenes, my favourite was a scene the lights in the building all were turned off.
Then all of a sudden the bullets that we’re shot we’re used to lights the scene, they bounced off each of the corners and somehow it all worked out really well.
Some of the techniques used in the directing of the film reminded me some of the show reel examples we had seen in the lessons. Especially as the music was very coherent to the actions taking place.
